The main task for this portion of the unit is to create a cover page, contents page and a double page spread of a music magazine, our magazine was allowed to feature any story as long as it was associated with the music industry.
Before we could even begin to draft it there were a number of things we had to do first. We had to do research on existing magazines and get feedback from our target audience about what they would like to be included in the magazine.
I acquired this feedback through questionnaires, the title, colour scheme and genre of my magazine were all chosen by my target audience which shows that market research does successfully help people to make decisions, other features within the magazine were also picked by the target audience and others I included myself.
I am really proud of my magazine and have enjoyed creating it, I hope you like it as much as I do.
